Win big in January! And meet our 2014 contest winners

Our December contest winner was Sasha of The Forest Bakery. Our first winner from down-under, we look forward to telling you more about Sasha and her delicious vegan treats soon!

November

In November, Vernon of Sound Crator Recording was our big winner! A musician who saw a need for a sound recording studio for musicians like him (not just the big name recording artists), he co-founded Sound Crater Recording. A relatively new business, Vernon has been working on construction, and building up his business with tools like Wave!

October

In October, Chris of Vizy Labs took home the big contest prize! From mobile app development to social media marketing, Vizy Labs is a complete service company that does it all! As a company that does it all, the team at Vizy Labs was quick to adopt lots of Wave’s tools — from accounting and invoicing to receipt management!

September

Mike of Castellani Photography took home the big contest prize in September! After dabbling in a real estate business, Mike decided to follow his lifelong passion and start his own photography business! Now, he focuses on his creative passion, and relies on Wave to create professional invoices that allow him get paid by credit card.

August

In August, we had three contest winners! The first was Shawn of IntegriMedia, who runs a computer and network consulting service. Shawn actually discovered Wave through a few of his clients, who were already set up with Wave! He got set up with Wave right away — and realized just how valuable his Wave account was when tax time hit!

Our next August winner was Tyler of PC Medic, who’s a self-taught computer guru. The more Tyler dives into Wave, the easier he finds it!

Our last August contest winner is Jeff from Indiana.

July

In July, we had three lucky winners — Chris, Vassy and Todd. Chris of Painful Cranium provides custom software development. After 20 years of working in technology, Chris finally decided to go into business for himself! Chris was looking for a tool that would be accessible from anywhere, with everything built in — and Wave fit the bill!

Vassy, runs home.sydeprojects.com. She’s a freelance writer, editor and interpreter, who now has the freedom to work from anywhere in the world!

Our last July winner was Todd from California.

June

In June, our lucky contest winners were Christifer, JJ, and Savannah!

Christifer from Tallented Computer Services runs an IT based business that focuses on doctors and the medical industry. They do everything from lining out desktops to fixing nuclear imaging devices – pretty neat, right?

Our next winner was JJ from Thunder Bay Construction, a home repair and remodelling company. JJ’s at job sites all day, so he doesn’t have time for all the paperwork — which is where Wave saves the day.

We first launched our contest in May — making Derek, Christine and Jason our first ever contest winners!

Derek Stevenson, who runs Envision Marketing, focuses on website design, graphic design and printing. A big fan of Payments by Wave, Derek says, “My customers like having that payment option right on the side of their invoice, so I’m expecting that to turn into a huge plus for my business.”

Our next May winner was Christine Smith of LA-based Got Game. Since 2004, the company has helped thousands of kids develop basketball skills and a love of the game through camps, clinics and club teams. When Christine came to Wave, she was looking to solve a universal pain point: How to get paid. Since signing up with Wave, it’s been smooth sailing!
