For the third year in a row, Deloitte recognizes Wave as one of North America’s fastest growing tech companies. CEO and co-founder Kirk Simpson shares his thoughts on Wave’s rapid growth and success.

On November 10, we got the phone call that Wave had been named one of Canada's most innovative companies by CIX (Canadian Innovation Exchange) and would be listed in the CIX Top 20. Competing in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) category, Wave would be presented to a live audience at the MaRS Discovery District, where audience members were given virtual currency to bid on stocks for each company.

I was with the Next 36, one of the country's best programs for identifying and nurturing new generations of great Canadian entrepreneurs. My peers and I (mentors in the program) weren't looking at products and technologies (yet), but rather at the innovators, thinkers and dreamers who were vying to be the Class of 2016.
